hemingbrough 20-20 finals day

Sunday 6th September 2009 will be the first ever Hemingbrough 20-20 finals day at Hemingbrough playing fields, the Club has organised a unique tournament to coin side with the Ashes this summer.

The day will consist of 20 -20 cricket matches between the two Saturday football teams and Hemingbrough cricket team.

The first 20-20 match of the day will see the two football teams battling it out in a 20 over match, the two teams consisting of last season first and second team football sides, with the winner progressing to the Hemingbrough 20-20 cup final where the winner of the football sides match will meet Hemingbroughs very own cricket side.

To make the day an enjoyable day out, the clubs will be organising a BBQ down at the field with a summer raffle taking place, with some top prizes including a signed Monty Panesar England Cricket shirt and a Leeds United signed Football shirt, plus many more fantastic prizes.

The first match is due to start at 1 pm with all three match day squads to be revealed online in the coming weeks.
